Confederate Flag Day is held in April of each year by the
Sons of Confederate Veterans on the Capitol grounds. Confederate
Reenacting units provide and honor guard and taste of the Confederate Soldier.
The 1998 event featured artillery, lots of kids and pretty ladies, a speech
from one of Arkansas's premier historians, and display of the 1911 National
UCV Reunion Flag that flew over the city during the reunion.
